The Power of Water

Water is an amazing thing, so much so that it used to be considered one of the four fundamental elements of the world (which we now simply recognize as the phases of matter). 

Toss "Heart" into the mix and Captain Planet would be proud.

Below you will see a video of just how powerful a force it can be.  This footage shows a road completely collapsing due to flooding.  It doesn't take long (only 52 seconds into the video) for things to get really interesting. This is why a good flood study is so crucial to any new development.  It can literally make or break your project...at least eventually.
